Profound knowledge of the global economy and business, flexibility and a strong focus on intercultural matters are core features of the Berlin-based programme "International Economics, Business & Cultural Diplomacy" at Furtwangen University.

Overview

Cultural Diplomacy aims to facilitate and improve relations and collaboration between disparate cultures. International Economics combined with Cultural Diplomacy opens new horizons in a globalized economy that is based on intercultural understanding.

Study experience

The International Economics, Business and Cultural Diplomacy programme at Furtwangen University addresses contemporary international issues by means of classroom seminars and lectures as well as educational & cultural events, conferences, professional training courses, tours, visits and meetings with foreign officials, which are incorporated into the curriculum. Students will meet with leading experts working in international organizations, embassies and academic institutions, and will engage with specialists in the areas of international relations & economics, business, communication, politics, human rights, culture, peace building, multilateral diplomacy, conflict resolution and development.
