Manage international projects and extensive datasets with confidence. In this two-year, English-taught Project Management and Data Science programme at HTW Berlin , you’ll learn online from professors with impressive backgrounds in industry and collaborate with peers from 16+ countries.
During the programme, you’ll advance from a foundational understanding of international project management and data analytics to the level of advanced, hands-on expertise in both fields.
The curriculum is completed by courses in:

Each module (or course) of the MPMD provides you with a mix of
- Real-time lectures with your professors from HTW Berlin
- Case studies in which you will directly apply your new knowledge
- Self-paced online learning with readings, videos, exercises and opportunities to self-assess your learning progress
- You will also have the opportunity to co-operate and exchange with your fellow MPMD students from 16+ countries

- Tuition fees can be paid in four instalments of 4,400 EUR per semester.
Living costs
Berlin
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
As an MPMD student at HTW Berlin, you might be eligible for a student loan from Studentische Darlehnskasse e.V. Berlin, or daka Berlin for short. This non-profit organisation offers student loans regardless of age, BAföG entitlement, income, nationality and semesters of study. The requirements for a loan are
- Enrolment at a member university (true fot HTW Berlin)
- 1 to 2 guarantors (depending on the amount lent): 18-60 years of age, permanent residence in Germany, permanent employment in Germany, net income of at least 1,450 euros/month.
As an international student you are also allowed to work for a total of 140 full working days or 280 half working days per calendar year (more during semester breaks).
