About this Degree

The AISTS (International Academy of Sport Science and Technology) MAS in Sport Management and Technology is a multidisciplinary programme with a focus on management and technology. The third main module of the programme – Career and Leadership – is designed to prepare you as a sport and team leader to succeed in your career. While these three modules are at the forefront, no sport manager can aspire to become a leader without a profound understanding of the sociological component of sport, its medical specificities as well as the legal construct which governs its ways of working. 

Lastly, with the importance of sustainability in today’s society, as well as the opportunities of growth brought by digitalization, these two topics have become a natural and common theme across all modules.

General requirements

A Master Degree recognised by EPFL (one of the AISTS co-signing universities)
OR
A Bachelor Degree recognised by EPFL (one of the AISTS co-signing universities) with a minimum of five year’s work experience in any industry
OR
A Bachelor Degree recognised by EPFL (one of the AISTS co-signing universities) with a minimum of five years combined relevant experience in sport (international/national athlete experience)
Additionally to the above, applicants are required to be fluent in English as all lectures are given in English. Applicants must complete the online application form and attach all requested documentation. They must be able to finance both their studies and their cost of living in Lausanne.
