Applicants must satisfy KFUPM General Requirement

The priority for the enrollment in the proposed program is for applicants who hold a BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline such as Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Applicants who hold BS in other related disciplines should have a satisfactory background in core areas of computer science which may include computer networks, operating systems, algorithms, and programming.

Unsatisfactory background in any of these areas is considered a deficiency. Provisional admission may be granted to qualified students. Such students must take the appropriate deficiency course(s) at KFUPM with a grade of B or better before a change of status to regular graduate student.
