Overview
This IT-Enabled Innovation programme from Maynooth University utilises the educational resources provided by the School of Business and the knowledge found at the Innovation Value Institute (IVI) - a research centre within the university - to respond to the need for educational offerings in the management and governance of both established IT systems and new digital technologies.
The guiding philosophy for this course is based on the idea that work, processes and the systemic characteristics of intra- and inter-organisational activities and connections are inextricably linked with IT or digital technology and cannot be separated from them. This perspective emphasises the systemic relationships, interdependencies and work context. In this socio-technical view, business and IT are intertwined and work and business processes that are supported by IT are viewed as one.
Career Options
- The programme contributes to the career development needs of current and future IT executives in both public and private sector organisations.
