The objective of the Materials Engineering programme from University of Miskolc is to train engineers who, based on their knowledge in the fundamental sciences are dealing with the structure, properties and behavior of materials (e.g. metals and their alloys, ceramics, and silicates, polymers and plastics), also they are able to design and operate relevant technologies and can perform research and development activities.

During the Materials Engineering MSc program, students can be specialized in Polymer studies currently. Due to the different background Of the students, they must attend some of the basic BSc courses of the specialization to achieve a better understanding of the field of Polymers.
