If you are an artist, designer, performer or writer and wish to work in a creatively diverse environment or have an interest in developing your practice for the creative industries, this course is for you.

The Creative Practice course at Leeds Arts University encourages you to pursue an individual creative research interest for the duration of your study, allowing you to examine and strengthen your own practice and place it at the centre of your studies in a transdisciplinary learning context.

Key facts:

You will be encouraged to maintain contact with other creative practitioners and develop freelance or other creative career paths within a portfolio career.This course will also support and prepare you to develop ideas for application to a practice-based PhD. The aim is to encourage a deeper conceptual and practical understanding of process, method, technique, tools and materiality through scholarship and critical engagement with theoretical creative practice contexts.
