Overview

The Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology programme from University of Paduaencourages an active role for students and offers several hands-on trainings for learning TMS, tDCS, EEG, fNIRS, clinical testing and advanced imaging software.

This allow students’ theoretical learning to be complemented by state-of- the art technical and practical skills.

Career opportunities

Graduates may seek employment opportunities mainly in the emerging fields of Clinical Neuropsychology or Cognitive Neuroscience, e.g. computational neuroscience, neuroergonomy, and brain stimulation, or pursue PhD studies, especially in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience. The programme also entitles to practice as psychologist in Italy.

Programme units: Principles of Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging Techniques; New Trends in Neuroscience; Neuroanatomy; Clinical Neuropsychology; Cognition and Computation; Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology; Individual Differences in Cognition; Human Electrophysiology; Neuropsychological Assessment and Rehabilitation; Neuropsychology of Aging; New Concepts in Developmental Psychology; Advanced Social Psychology and Social Neuroscience; Affective Neuroscience and Psychopathology.

Laboratories: EEG; fNIRS, TMS, tES; Clinical Neuropsychological assessment, Brain Connectivity.

Practical Internship: 500 hours
