About Aviation Safety at Emirates Aviation University

The MSc in Aviation Safety programme from Emirates Aviation University is one of very few degree programmes in the world to address those needs. The awards provide graduates with knowledge of management, safety and security issues in aviation, and the ability to establish or administer safety or security programs in business, industry, or government. 

Fundamentally, however, safety relates to measures that are taken against the threat of an accident, while security refers to protection from threats motivated by hostility or malice. Each programme therefore contains three specialist modules that enable students to consider in depth the different areas of regulations and compliance, design, use of technologies and systems that are associated with these different perspectives.
