Overview
The Nutrition and Dietetic Practice program at Bond University is designed to develop graduates to be work-ready for careers in nutrition and dietetics across practice areas including clinical dietetics, private practice, food service management, public health nutrition, sports nutrition, and nutrition research. This program develops student competencies to exceed the accreditation requirements of the Dietitians Association of Australia, making graduates eligible to apply for accredited practising dietitian (APD) status within the Dietitians Association of Australia
Benefit from the program’s exceptional research internship, build skills in global nutrition citizenship and gain an additional 24 weeks of practical internship experience in traditional areas of practice such as clinical dietetics.
Professional outcomes
Bond’s Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice program has been designed to prepare graduates with the professional qualifications required to apply their skills and experience across a range of areas, including clinical dietetics in hospitals and outpatient facilities, private practice, food service management, corporate health and wellness, sports nutrition, nutrition communications and media, nutrition in childcare, schools and aged care facilities, and community and public health nutrition in Australia and globally.
Graduates may also wish to progress to further post-graduate research leading to potential career options in research organisations and academia.

- Minimum academic requirement is an undergraduate degree in health science or other related degree with at least two biochemistry subjects at second year level where first year chemistry is a pre-requisite of these subjects and two physiology subjects also at second year level.
- Successful performance at a selection interview
- Applicants whose previous study was not completed in one of the countries listed where English is considered a first language, must provide documented evidence of the required level of proficiency in the English language.
- Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students.
