The concept of sustainable development, which aims to harmonise the economic, social and environmental dimensions of development strategy, is now a key feature of policy-making by governments throughout the world.
You will graduate ready to effectively develop and implement best practice strategies which lead to environmentally and socially responsible products and services.
A major challenge is to change patterns of production and consumption to achieve sustainable development objectives without compromising the future viability of natural and human systems.
Businesses will need to develop strategies that further improve products and processes in response to both consumer demand and the needs of the environment. A new breed of professional is required with insight, skills, knowledge and ability to appreciate all sides of the debate in order to get results.
This MSc in Environmental Management for Business from Cranfield University provides students with the necessary up-to-date knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and policy as they impact on the public, private and voluntary sectors. It also provides students with the ability and skills to develop and implement strategies to promote the sustainable business practice.
