The Neurophysics programme from Radboud University can be readily adapted to your individual academic background and interests. Apart from fundamental knowledge of the brain, the Neurophysics specialisation also provides you with a general background in the principles of complex systems, and of intelligent behaviour of living and artificial systems.

This specialisation is an excellent preparation for a future research career in neuroscience, data science, and physics. In addition to the strong quantitative background expected from a physicist, you will acquire the ability to grasp and analyse complex multidisciplinary problems, typical of contemporary technological environments. Programme Structure

The first year introduces the physical principles underlying neural systems, including modelling, experimental techniques, and data analysis at the interface of physics and neuroscience.

The second year focuses on interdisciplinary research projects and concludes with a Master’s thesis in neurophysics.

Completed Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a research university (WO) in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related discipline.
Bachelor’s programme must include coursework in core physics, quantitative methods, and a Bachelor’s thesis.
