A completed Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Biology
- Medical Biology
- Molecular Life Sciences
- Microbial Biochemistry
- or a related area
Passed (preliminary) examinations containing the following subject matter:
- Microbiology: environmental or medical or physiological (12 credits)
- Biochemistry (6 credits)
- Cell Biology (6 credits)
- Molecular Biology / Genomics (6 credits)
- Metabolism (6 credits)
Also, basic understanding of the following subjects is required:
- Metagenomics or Genomics (3 credits)
- Bioinformatics (3 credits)
- Immunology (3 credits)
- Additional 60 credits of biology-related courses
- Personal statement
- Letter of reference
- Overview of education/experience
