Biology
Medical Biology
Molecular Life Sciences
Microbial Biochemistry
or a related area

Passed (preliminary) examinations containing the following subject matter:

Microbiology: environmental or medical or physiological (12 credits)
Biochemistry (6 credits)
Cell Biology (6 credits)
Molecular Biology / Genomics (6 credits)
Metabolism (6 credits)

Also, basic understanding of the following subjects is required:

Metagenomics or Genomics (3 credits)
Bioinformatics (3 credits)
