In this programme we focus on how international and EU law mechanisms address such contemporary challenges, while at the same time upholding values that are important for society. The curriculum equips you with the expertise to navigate the evolving relationship between national, European and international law, preparing you for a career in legal practice, policy-making or academia.

With a broad perspective on EU and international law, graduates of the International and EU Legal Orders specialisation are well prepared for careers in research, consultancy, diplomacy, legal practice, and advocacy. Career opportunities span government agencies, NGOs, law firms, and international organisations, as well as institutions such as the European Commission, the UN, the European Central Bank, and international courts and tribunals. Students must have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, with an educational level equivalent to a Dutch research university. Students who have obtained their diploma in Indonesia, are required to have obtained a Master's degree in Law (Sarjana Hukum II).
