Description
The basic prerequisite and criterion N°1 for the award of a scholarship is that the applicant cannot afford the tuition fees due to their socio-economic background.
In addition, extraordinary commitment in the social, cultural, ecological, political or artistic field constitutes a further assessment criterion.
Furthermore, they welcome young people with exceptional characteristics who contribute to the diversity of a degree program and our university through their unique experiences beyond performance-based success.

With the ZU Scholarship, Zeppelin University enables financially disadvantaged applicants to invest in their future.
The ZU Scholarship is granted as a tuition fee waiver of 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent upon successful scholarship application for the duration of the regular period of studies and is aimed exclusively at first-year students.
Eligibility
- The ZU scholarships are aimed at study starters of all programs offered at ZU.
Applicants for admission to a bachelor’s study program at Zeppelin University can be admitted if they have cumulatively fulfilled the prerequisites for admission to a state university:
- have acquired the general or subject-related higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent certificate;
- have very good English and German language skills;
- have successfully taken part in the Zeppelin University selection procedure.
Applicants for admission to a master’s study program at Zeppelin University can be accepted if they have cumulatively fulfilled the prerequisites for admission to a state university:
- have obtained the university entrance qualification or an equivalent certificate;
- have acquired an undergraduate degree at a nationally recognized university or an equivalent certificate;
- provide very good German or English language skills, depending on the course of study;
- have successfully taken part in the Zeppelin University selection procedure.
- For the General Management master’s study program, a corporate management and economics internship required for enrollment with a duration of around 240 hours must have been completed before the start of studies.

Application deadline
The application for the scholarship takes place exclusively in the context of your application for a study place, i.e. before the start of your studies.
In the online form, use the upload field for a letter of motivation for the scholarship.
On the selection day, the selection committee will decide whether you will be admitted to the program; it will also make a recommendation on the granting of a scholarship.
A few days after the selection day, you will receive a message about the outcome of your scholarship application together with the contract documents.
ZU scholarships are awarded exclusively within the framework of the selection process, i.e. before the start of studies.
