Zeppelin University

Zeppelin University is a private University in Germany. It is also state-recognized. The main subjects are Business, culture and politics. So students can make themselves innovative in the fields of business, culture and politics. It was found in 2003 and in 9 years it reaches the top of the hill of popularity. For the right to award doctorates, it is the first University that conducted a separate accreditation procedure with the German Council of Science and Humanities in 2010 and 2011.

In summer 2003 Zeppelin University receives university accreditation from the state of Baden-Württemberg. This marks the starting point for the establishment of an innovative university on the shores of Lake Constance and with views across the Alps – in the one-time workplace of the man who gave the university its name: Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin.

Housing services

All ZU students reside in various apartments or rooms in the area. All apartments or rooms are furnished. The average cost of rent is 300 € - 450€ per month. Most students travel to campus by bike, car, bus or train. Accordingly, every attempt will be made to provide foreign guest students with an apartment along the bus or rail line.

Zeppelin University (ZU), with its own campus on the Lake Constance beach is situated in one of Germany's most attractive scenic areas. Nestled at the meeting point of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and in close proximity to inviting metropolises such as Zürich, Munich, and Stuttgart, the almost endless range of things on offer here will not just be pleasing to sports enthusiasts.


Since the establishment of the university, all of ZU's study programs have been quality assured through program accreditation. In September 2013, after a lengthy peer review process, ZU achieved system accreditation, thereby attaining the highest level of national quality accreditation.

It was great to be part of a community of mostly very engaged people and I loved the discussions and events in and around university. The course was very high quality academically. The only thing I did not like as much is that it is a four year´s course but others love this about it.
