Description
This one-off scholarship is available to international postgraduate taught applicants joining the University for the first time on the UK campus. The scholarship is applied to tuition fees and is not available in subsequent years of study.
Benefits
This £3,500 discount is a one-off discount from tuition fees for the first-time applicants joining the University and not available for subsequent years of study.
Eligibility
How to qualify:
- pay a minimum £5,000 tuition fee deposit by 30 April 2026 (funds must have cleared into the University’s bank account)
- hold and accept an offer for a full-time, award-bearing postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026
- be fully self-funded and pay fees directly to the University.
Not available for:
- MSc Nursing (all routes)
- MSc Paramedic Science
- MSc Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging
- MSc Physiotherapy
- MSc Social Work
- PgDip Outdoor Environmental Education
- PgDip Bar Practice
- LLM Bar Practice
- LLM Solicitors Practice
- Master of Public Health (all routes)
- OSPAP
- pre-sessional English, Research degrees, HIC, online courses
- undergraduate courses
- University of Hertfordshire or HIC graduates
Additional conditions:
- Available only for first-time entrants in September 2026
- Only available on entry for the first time to the University – not in subsequent years
- Applicants must: have been offered and accepted a place on a full-time award-bearing University of Hertfordshire programme and be paying the full cost of the tuition fee from their own resources directly to the University of Hertfordshire, and not discounted or sponsored for any part of the fee by the University of Hertfordshire or an organisation such as an employer, charitable body or government department.
