Description
At Pharmica Pharmacy, a thorough understanding of health and medicine is fundamental to ensuring patient safety and providing expert advice. They believe that this valuable education starts in school and continues through higher education, but they recognise the financial barriers for many students to continue their studies beyond high school.
Benefits
The Pharmica International Scholarship Program is awarded annually to a student accepted to study at an accredited North American university to subsidise their higher education fees in the form of a one-off $1,000 award.
Eligibility
- At least 18 years old, or be able to provide written permission from a parent or guardian if you are under 18.
- In good academic standing with your current educational institution, with an average GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate program starting or continuing in the academic year, at an accredited North American college or university.

To apply for the award, they ask that you complete the task of writing an essay, no longer than 1000 words, in answer to the following question:
"What are the anticipated future developments in technology and healthcare, and how could they transform telehealth services?"
Your essay should be no longer than 1,000 words and submitted in a Word document format via email using the subject “Pharmica Scholarship Submission | [Your Name]”.
The deadline for submitting your essay is Monday, the 4th of August. The winning applicant will be selected by the Pharmica Scholarship Team based on the originality of their essay submission and the quality of their writing. The winner will be announced on Friday, the 15th of August.
