The Outstanding Master of Science Award was established by The Department of psychology.

Eligibility
This award is open to graduate students who meet the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled in the Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology program.
- Must have graduated in January 2026 or be a candidate for graduation in May or August 2026.
- Requirement: The awardee must attend the in-person Honors and Awards Banquet to receive the award.
- Commencement: The recipient will be invited to speak at the commencement ceremony and will work with the department’s Commencement Committee and the Dean’s Office on their speech.
This prestigious honor is granted to only one student per year who demonstrates excellence in the clinical track. Selection is based on outstanding performance in two or three of the following areas:
- Scholarship: Academic excellence and a deep understanding of clinical theory.
- Research: Contributions to clinical research and evidence-based practice.
- Service: Dedicated service to the department, university, or the clinical community.
