Description

The Beverly and Arnold Miller University Scholarship in Gerontology is an endowed program established by Beverly and Arnold Miller to provide support to students who are pursuing careers in Gerontology.

Benefits

The scholarship offers a $750- $2,000 amount, to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

  • Awards are given annually with the opportunity to be renewed with demonstrated recipient accomplishments.
  • Finalists may be asked to participate in an interview. 
  • This scholarship is open to students studying in the field of aging and related disciplines, learning about all aspects of aging, and who are pursuing careers to work with, for, and on behalf of older adults.
  • Eligibility is open to students studying within disciplines supporting such programs within College of Humanities and Social Science and the College of Health and Human Development.

Complete the SA application at http://www.fullerton.edu/financialaid/_resources/pdf/scholarships/Application.pdf, answer all 7 questions, and sign the certification;

Provide a copy of your academic transcript with yourgerontology course numbers and grades received highlighted, a TDA can be obtained from Titan Online;

Prepare a typed essay of approximately 250 words describing interest and potential for a career in Gerontology;

Obtain two letters of recommendation (at least one letter from a CSUF faculty member);

Submit application materials via email.

Recommendation letters should be separately sent by your letter writers.
