Description
The Hennessey Family Scholarship was established by Katie Hennessey ’12, College of Communications alumna, to honor the memory of her sister Kelli Hennessey (Topp).
Benefits
The scholarship offers a $1,000 amount to help you with your studies.
Eligibility
Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled as an incoming or continuing student.
- Majoring or minoring in a degree program under the College of Communications.
- Students must be enrolled full-time in the academic year in which they will receive the award.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Actively pursuing a career in entertainment or sports.
- Demonstrates financial need; cannot be receiving more than $5,000 in other scholarships.
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Full-time enrollment at CSUF.
- Good academic standing with the University.
- Career goals.
- Essay.
- Financial Need.
