Description

The The John and Jessie Maxwell Communications Scholarship was established and funded by an endowment from John William Maxwell, founding chair of the Department of Communications at Cal State Fullerton.

Benefits

The scholarship offers a $250 to $1,000 amount, to help you with your studies.

Eligibility

Open to CSUF students who meet the following criteria:

  • This scholarship is open to all Communications and CTVA students, including continuing majors and incoming transfer or freshman students who declare Communications or CTVA as a major.

Criteria:Applicants will be evaluated based on:

  • Good academic standing with the University.
  • academic and/or career goals, study abroad plans.

1) Log into your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” app on the left-hand side. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the "Spring 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application".

2) Write a personal statement outlining your academic and/or career goals, and how this scholarship could benefit you (including how study abroad plans will impact your education if applicable).

3) Do not submit application until all required documents have been uploaded.

Complete the Fall 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application within the Titan Scholarship Portal.
