Description
The Department of Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics (CPMB) seeks to continually recruit and retain the best quality students. In support of this goal, the Margaret Sheffield Lutherer Charitable Foundation Scholarship will provide a competitive $1,500 one-time award to students with a declared mentor that is a primary faculty of CPMB and that conduct research in the areas of Membrane Biophysics, Neuroscience, and/or Structural Biology.

Eligibility
- All Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. students mentored by CPMB primary faculty that are in good academic standing are eligible.
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 within the Graduate Biomedical Sciences Program.
- Student must be enrolled at time of award.
- The expected graduation date should be after September 1st.Awardees are encouraged to reapply for subsequent award cycles and previous award recipients are also eligible.
