Description

This award has been created to support single parents in pursuit of higher education at UNBC. The Knights of Columbus Council 8046 take pride in helping students who choose to raise a child on their own.

The value of the scholarship is $1,000.

Eligibility

  • Available to a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student who is a single parent with permanent custody of his/her child(ren).
  • Criteria: Demonstrated financial need and satisfactory academic standing.
  • In the event that there are more qualified applicants than awards available, preference will be given to an undergraduate student and/or a graduate student who has not previously received this award.
