Description

The Faculty of Engineering are delighted to be offering scholarships to all eligible postgraduate taught, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students, joining a full-time on-campus course in the Faculty of Engineering in September.

Benefits

The value of the scholarship award is £6,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees. 

Eligibility

  • The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course within the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow starting September only. The scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points. 
  • The scholarships will be awarded automatically and no application is necessary. Please note that the scholarship details will be added to your student record once payment of deposit has been received, and the funds will be automatically deducted from your overall fees. 
  • Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.
  • In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study on a full-time postgraduate taught course in September.
  • Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
  • Students studying a two-year MSc course will receive a £6,000 scholarship for each year of study.  This includes the MArch Advanced Architectural Design, MArch Architectural Design (International) and the MSc Advanced Electrical Power and Energy Systems.
  • Students on the 18-month MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Placement course will receive an additional pro-rata scholarship for the remaining 6 months of the course studied in year 2.
