There’s no separate application process for the scholarship. You should use the standard MA application form or the MRes application research proposal to identify how you expect the programme to allow you to fulfil your educational, research, or professional ambitions in music.

The work submitted should demonstrate your compositional approach and may be presented in a form appropriate to your area of practice:

For film and media composers, the example may be a single audiovisual clip or a showreel/montage containing up to 3 examples of your work, with a total duration of approximately 5 minutes

For composers working in other areas, the example may be a single complete composition or an extract from a longer work, normally of approximately 5 minutes' duration.

Audio or video materials may be hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, ReelCrafter or another suitable hosting service
