Description
The scholarship is offered by the University of Liverpool and Genesys Legacy Project Ltd to support future life scientists and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the UK.

A maintenance stipend of £4,500 for three years of the recipient’s course.
Eligibility
You must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:
- Be studying in Year 0 or Year 1 of a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Liverpool.
- Be studying a programme within the University of Liverpool School of Biosciences.
- Come from a home where neither parent attended university in the UK or abroad. If one or more parent is currently studying for their first degree or graduated from their first degree within the last five years, you will be considered eligible under this criteria.
- Have been assessed for fee status as a ‘home’ student, or expect to be assessed as a ‘home’ student.
- Have a household income of less than £25,000 per annum.
- Have made an application to Student Finance England.
