Their Excellence for Energy scholarships are designed to prepare you for a future tackling some of the world’s biggest energy and environmental challenges.
Benefits
Scholarships of up to £10,000 are available to talented postgraduate students studying on one of our two energy programmes starting in September.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarships, you must:
- Be classed as domiciled in (living in) Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam.
- Hold and accept an offer by 24th July from University of Birmingham to start in September for one of the following courses at Birmingham's UK campus;
- MSc Global Energy Technologies and Systems
- MSc Sustainable Energy Engineering
- Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
- Expect to at least meet the entry requirements for the programme, applicable to your country of domicile by 24th July
- Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
- Following enrolment in September, you will be required to pay your net tuition fees for the first year by 1 November
