The Chevening Scholarship is the UK Government's flagship international scholarship programme, enabling outstanding emerging leaders from eligible countries to undertake a one-year taught Master's degree at Robert Gordon University.

Description

Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations, the scholarship is available for eligible one-year postgraduate taught programmes at RGU. It is awarded to applicants demonstrating academic excellence, leadership potential and a commitment to contributing to their home country.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship you must have: -

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • At least two years' work experience (including voluntary experience).
  • Leadership skills such as excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the sheer determination to achieve your goals.
  • A willingness to embody the experience, by engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for Robert Gordon University, by promoting the value of studying at Robert Gordon University.
  • All countries are eligible for this scholarship, funding or discount.

You'll need to apply for a full time master's degree with RGU and a Chevening Scholarship. They recommend applying for your chosen courses of study before or at the same time as applying for a Chevening Scholarship.

The process of selecting Chevening Scholars takes a minimum of eight months from the application deadline to when scholars are conditionally selected for an award.
