Description

The scholarship is available to undergraduate students from the School of Economics and Finance who are undertaking an approved industrial placement as part of their degree programme. Awards are intended to support students with expenses associated with completing their placement.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be paying full home tuition fees (i.e., not in receipt of another scholarship);
  • Be registered on a programme from the School of Economics and Finance with a year in industry;
  • Have secured a work placement (and received official approval from the School) for the academic year and they must have met the academic progression requirements; and
  • Be able to demonstrate an annual household income below £42,000.

The Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have achieved the highest weighted average grade across their first and second year.
