Benefits

The Institute of Leadership Postgraduate Scholarships will support a select number of Postgraduate students who choose to study on the one of the below eligible programmes starting September, with £2,000 cash during their one year degree.  The money can be used to enhance the overall University experience.

Eligibility

To be eligible an The Institute of Leadership Scholarship you must:

  • Be a UK/Home applicant with 'Home' fee status - This includes students domiciled in Jersey, Guernsey, The Channel Islands, Ireland and Isle of Man
  • Apply to study on one of the below eligible courses commencing September at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus
  • Meet the terms and conditions and accept your offer
  • Be a self-funded student - ie; not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement (employer funded)

There is a competitive selection process for this scholarship scheme.  Applicants need to apply via online written application; a selection panel will consider all eligible applications.  In no more than 3000 characters (500 words); What are your career aspirations and how would an Institute scholarship help you achieve these? - Applications will be considered on the strength of response

The successful applicants will be notified once the evaluation panel has met, by no later than Friday 18 September 2026
