Description

The scholarships are awarded to outstanding international applicants with excellent academic achievement who have applied to study an eligible full-time undergraduate degree at Newcastle University's Newcastle city centre campus. Applicants are assessed on academic ability and the quality of their scholarship application.

Eligibility

To be considered for scholarships applicants must:

  • be assessed as international for fee purposes:
  • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the academic year
  • already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent
  • must accept Newcastle University as firm choice with UCAS by 5th June

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application.

You apply for this scholarship online separately to your course. Applications must be submitted through the University's Apply to Newcastle Portal under the 'scholarships applications' section.

You must already hold an offer to study at the University to apply. If you apply before midnight UK time on the first closing date we aim to let you know the outcome within 4 weeks after that closing date. If you apply after the first but before the second closing date then you will get your result 4 – 6 weeks after the second closing date.
