Eligibility
- Applicants must have a household income below £42,875 (2019-20 rates) based on an assessment carried out by Student Finance England.
- Permanently resident in one of the following postcode areas:
- CA, DH, DL, NE, SR, TS.
- Please note preference will be given to applicants from Hebburn and Jarrow
- If you are waiting for confirmation of your entitlement from SFE, please submit your scholarship application form and forward details of your assessment letter as soon as you can

1. Submit an online scholarship application form by 25 March including the following.
2. Provide a copy of your Student Finance letter confirming the amount of maintenance loan who are entitled to as soon as you receive it.
3. Arrange for your referee to submit a reference by the above deadline.
A reference from one of your teachers in support of your scholarship application to be sent by email
Please ensure your referee submits the reference on letter headed paper or from a school e-mail account which contains:
- their name
- position
- contact details
- your full name

2 Please provide information on any activities the student takes part in either in or out of school
3 Please provide any additional information you think would be helpful.
