Description

The bursary is designed to ensure that travel costs do not prevent eligible applicants from attending in-person undergraduate auditions, interviews or the Undergraduate Music offer holder event at Leeds Conservatoire.

Online auditions remain available for many courses, but this bursary supports those attending in person.

Benefits

Refund of eligible public transport travel costs (excluding booking fees).

Mileage reimbursement at 45p per mile for applicants travelling by car.

Travel costs are refunded only for the applicant.

Overnight accommodation, taxis and travel costs for accompanying persons are not covered.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a UK resident.
  • Attend an in-person undergraduate audition, interview or Undergraduate Music offer holder event at Leeds Conservatoire.

Meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Come from a lower-income household (household income below £25,000).
  • Be from the Global Majority.

Submit the refund application after attending the event.
