Description
The bursary was established in memory of Joe Henson MBE, a former President of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, to encourage students pursuing careers in agriculture and land-based industries.
Although listed by Hartpury University as an external funding opportunity, the bursary is administered by the Three Counties Agricultural Society. It supports students undertaking further, higher or postgraduate education in agriculture or related subjects.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Normally reside in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire or Worcestershire.
- Be studying agriculture or a related land-based subject.
- Be undertaking further, higher or postgraduate education (full-time or part-time).
- Be 18–25 years old at the start of their course.
- Demonstrate commitment to a career in the land-based industries.

Complete the Three Counties Agricultural Society application form.
Submit supporting information explaining why they should receive the bursary and how the funding will support their studies.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an interview.
