Description
The Martin Baber Award is an international work experience bursary that aims to enhance students' knowledge, practical skills and global understanding of agriculture.
The bursary supports students undertaking an agricultural-based activity abroad by contributing towards the costs associated with their placement or study experience.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled on a Hartpury University programme.
- Undertake an agricultural-based study or work experience abroad.
- Submit evidence of academic achievement or relevant practical experience.
- Provide a plan (maximum 1,000 words) explaining the proposed experience, how the funding will be used, and how it supports future career aspirations.
- Normally have been resident in the UK for the previous three years before starting their course.
- Agree to deliver a presentation after completing the experience.

Applicants must:
Obtain the Martin Baber Award application form from the Student Finance Office.
Submit the completed application at least three months before the proposed experience begins.
Include all required supporting documents and the study/work plan.
Applications are reviewed by a panel of senior Hartpury staff, with decisions normally communicated within two weeks.
