Description
The Thermal Power and Propulsion MSc is providing a limited number of scholarships at Cranfield University. The scholarship is named after the British inventor of the jet engine, Frank Whittle.
Benefits
This scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees for the MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion. Applicants must note that they will be responsible for the remainder of the fee and their travel and subsistence expenses.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to all applicants who hold an offer for the MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion, and candidates may be considered for both the October and March intakes. It is intended for applicants unable to pursue the course without financial support.
- Suitable for Applicants from: EU (non–European Partnership Discount), the UK, Rest of the world
- Deadline: October intake (30th of May) and March intake (30th of November)
- Academic requirement for the scholarship only: a minimum of a UK upper second-class (2:1) honours degree, or an equivalent international qualification. Awardees will be selected based on the strength of their CV (including academic qualifications and relevant experience), their financial need.
- There will be a shortlisting stage before interviews, so it is important to apply early as the number of offers is limited. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an MSc thesis project assigned by staff within the Centre for Propulsion and Thermal Power Engineering.
