Applicants must submit a 500-word essay by email to scc-scholarships@city.ac.uk on the following topic:

"How has the framing of recent geopolitical crises in your country or region by international correspondents influenced your decision to study international journalism?"

The essay should include personal reflections on how foreign correspondents influence the news ecosystem in the applicant's home country.

Applicants should include "BEESTON Bursary" in the email subject line. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online.
