Description
The scholarship was established by the Marjorie Deane Financial Journalism Foundation, founded in 1998 in memory of financial journalist Marjorie Deane, who worked at The Economist.
It aims to support talented students pursuing postgraduate studies in financial journalism who demonstrate both strong potential and financial need. The Foundation also supports similar programmes at New York University.

Applicants must:
- Hold a confirmed offer for the MA Global Financial Journalism programme for the relevant academic year.
