Description
The Bursary is aimed at supporting students to study at the Courtauld Institute who come from under-represented groups in higher education.
Benefits
Depending on how much your household income is, you can receive up to £3,000 per annum to support your studies while at The Courtauld.
Eligibility
- The key criterion for assessing how Courtauld Bursaries are awarded is based on household income assessments done by relevant government funding bodies, i.e. Student Finance England, Student Finance Northern Ireland, Student Awards Agency for Scotland and Student Finance Wales. This is why only Home students who have applied for Student Loans are eligible for the Courtauld Bursary scheme.
- When applying for government funding, both you and your parents must consent to sharing the financial information you provide on your Student Loan application. This will allow us to access your information and determine your eligibility for a Courtauld Bursary.
In addition, Widening Participation markers are also considered. These are:
- State school or college educated
- Students whose parents have not attended university
- Resident in a low Higher Education participation neighbourhood
- In receipt of Disability Support Allowance
