The GREAT Scholarships support outstanding international students from Egypt, India, and Turkey who wish to pursue a one-year postgraduate degree at UWE Bristol. The scholarships are offered in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign to promote access to UK higher education.

Description

The GREAT Scholarships are available to students from Egypt, India, and Turkey applying for any one-year full-time postgraduate course at UWE Bristol.

The programme is part of the British Council's GREAT Scholarships initiative, delivered in partnership with UK universities.

UWE Bristol offers one scholarship for each eligible country, with recipients selected based on academic excellence and the quality of their personal statement. Scholarship holders are also expected to act as ambassadors for UWE Bristol and the British Council during and after their studies.

Eligibility

  • Must be a citizen of Egypt, India, or Turkey.
  • Must hold an unconditional offer for a full-time postgraduate course at UWE Bristol.
  • Must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, equivalent to a UK first-class honours degree or international equivalent.
  • Must not be sponsored or receiving another UWE Bristol tuition fee discount.
  • Must be willing to undertake ambassadorial activities for UWE Bristol and the British Council.
