Description

The Wilfred Southall Sustainability Awards are funded by the Southall Trust and are open to taught postgraduate students in the School of Art, Film and Media and the School of Design.

One student in each category receives an award. Award recipients are nominated by academic staff and selected by an external panel. Following graduation, recipients are expected to present the development of their project to staff and students.

Benefits

The award provides £1,000, paid in two instalments:

£800 following the MA Degree Show award ceremony.

£200 after delivering a presentation on the project's development.

Eligibility

  • Must be a taught postgraduate student.
  • Must be studying in the School of Art, Film and Media or the School of Design.
  • Students studying at Bath Spa University's Educational Partner institutes are not eligible.
  • Must produce work that fits one of the three sustainability award categories.
  • Students are nominated by lecturers; direct applications are not accepted.
