Description
The Career Changer Scholarship is available to applicants pursuing an eligible law conversion programme at BPP University. It is designed for individuals making a significant career change into the legal profession and supports those who can demonstrate strong academic performance, resilience, leadership, and commitment to becoming a solicitor or barrister. The scholarship is available for the Law Conversion Course (PGDL), the Law Conversion Course (Master's), and the LLM Law Conversion with SQE1.
Benefits
The scholarship provides tuition fee support through awards of £3,000, half tuition fees, or full tuition fees.
Eligibility
- Must have submitted an application to study an eligible law conversion course at BPP University.
- Must currently be working in a non-law profession and be seeking to transition into a legal career.
- Must apply for the scholarship by the relevant deadline.
- Must have achieved a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent, or a 2:2 with accepted mitigating circumstances.
- Must not hold full sponsorship for tuition fees from another organisation.
- Must be a new student enrolling on the course.
- Strong applicants should demonstrate academic achievement, resilience, volunteering or pro bono experience, commitment to career progression, and transferable leadership or entrepreneurial skills.

Applicants must first apply for an eligible law conversion programme at BPP University. They must then complete the online scholarship application before the relevant deadline. Applicants seeking full or half tuition fee scholarships may be invited to complete an additional project as part of the selection process.
