Description

To celebrate the inaugural year of the LLM Solicitors’ Practice Course at Kent (which complements the already established MLaw Integrated Course), and to coincide with the University of Kent’s 60th Anniversary celebrations, they are proud to offer these scholarships to all applicants who apply and satisfy the criteria.

Eligibility

You must meet all of the following conditions:

For Overseas Applicants:

  • Hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website
  • Be classified by the University of Kent as an Overseas student for tuition fee purposes
  • Be fully self-funded 

For ALL Applicants:

  • Have applied for the taught Kent LLM in Solicitors’ Practice at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in September 2026
  • Must have achieved a 2:1 or equivalent in your Law Degree at Bachelor's Level. 
  • Must have undertaken your Law Degree at an institution other than the University of Kent.
  • Must provide a short personal statement (500 words) demonstrating what you have done during the course of your law degree to pursue a career as a solicitor. 
  • Have received an offer of a place on the taught LLM  in Solicitors’ Practice by the scholarship application deadline.
  • Submit a scholarship application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline (please note that they are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application)
