Description
Each Classic City Scholar will be awarded a Presidential waiver of the differential between the Georgia resident and non-resident tuition and fees.
Benefits
The scholarship will have a minimum value of $19,040 per year. It is renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of enrollment or until the student receives their undergraduate degree, whichever occurs first.
Eligibility
- The student must achieve the required academic criteria to renew the scholarship and the value of the scholarship will be modified if the differential between the resident and non-resident tuition and fees increases.
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.

All scholarships awarded by the Undergraduate Admissions office are renewable for eight semesters of full-time enrollment, or the completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
To renew the scholarship each year, students must maintain specific academic requirements which are detailed in the award letter.
