Description
The Joseph M. Fontana Scholarships are annual awards to exceptional Computer Science juniors and seniors, made possible by a generous contribution by Dr. Jeanne Hutchison, in memory of her husband, Joseph M. Fontana, who was a member of the CS faculty for several years.
Benefits
Two scholarship awards of up to $5,000 each are awarded for one year, and may be used for tuition, student fees, books, laboratory fees, supplies, and other items deemed appropriate by the selection committee. The award may be renewed for a second year as long as the student maintains a 3.5 major GPA and is enrolled fulltime.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 CS GPA and a minimum overall 3.0/4.0 GPA at the time of application.
