Description
The Madhav Praveen Memorial Scholarship is an annual award to a Computer Science major, made available through gifts in memory of Madhav Praveen.

The award offers up to $500 per semester.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be a freshman currently enrolled in or admitted to a degree-granting program in the Department of Computer Science at UAB.
- Applicants must have demonstrated solid academic promise and achievement and have earned at least an overall 3.0 GPA in coursework completed prior to the time of application.
- The Fund shall provide support to students for whom affordability may be an obstacle and who might otherwise be unable to attend the University.
- Preference will be given to students with financial need.
