Description
The Atomic Energy Scholarship(AES) Program of the China(Phase1) was jointly initiated by the China Atomic Energy Authority(CAEA) and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (MOE) with the aim of fostering outstanding young talent working in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy from developing countries.

Master’s candidates: CNY3,000 per month;
Doctoral candidates: CNY3,500 per month;

Eligibility
The scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following requirements:
- Citizens of countries other than the PRC who are committed to the nuclear industry for the benefit of the society and in good health;
- Holders of a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in such majors as nuclear engineering, nuclear technology applications, mechanics, energy, chemical engineering and physics with strong capability of scientific research;
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written & reading), with valid certificate of language proficiency;
- Education and age limit:Holders of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent under the age of 35 when applying for a Master's program; Holders of a Master's degree or its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program;
- Those with work experience in nuclear or related fields will be given priority consideration.

All the applicants need to fill in and submit information via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System; the Online Registration System of the target university before 31 May, each year.
