Montclair State University allows students to be more connected to the world around them and to be connected to their professors as well. The campus is only 12 miles away from NYC, which gives students a chance to explore, while being close to more job opportunities. The diverse campus also helps students learn more about the people around them and cultures.
Latest critical review:
The faculty and staff have been MOSTLY helpful since I started my master's. It is clear that some professors struggle with the teaching side, but overall I have felt that the academics are manageable. Registering has been easy, the important faculty are responsive. And if you make a fuss, they tend to listen.
