It is a two-year full-time Master degree with the possibility to choose among six different majors entirely taught in English. The options are:

  • Economics
  • Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment
  • Finance
  • International Business
  • Marketing and Brand Management
  • Strategy

I decided to take the Marketing and Brand Management course, as it’s the field that I want to pursue my career.

During my Bachelor studies, I did an exchange year abroad, in Paris – France. This was one of the best experiences I had in my life, so I decided that after my Bachelor I’d pursue an international programme abroad again. Deciding where to go among many options was a really hard task, but the help of Studyportals was essential in that part of the process, otherwise I’d never get to know all those different Master's options, including the one I chose.

I knew that I wanted a Master in Marketing, which should be full-time and entirely taught in English, in a top university and for a reasonable price. It seemed impossible to find a programme with these exact characteristics, but after setting up some filters at Studyportals, I discovered some very good universities.

After some research among the options, I was sure that the Norwegian School of Economics was the right place to be. It’s recognized as the leading business school in Norway, where some CEOs and Nobel Prizes have studied. The Master programmes are entirely taught in English and it’s completely FREE, there are no tuition fees for students from all over the world.

It is based in Bergen, the second biggest city in Norway, which is a very charming and lovely place. The student life here is very active, with many international students. Nature here is also a big thing, as the city lies between the mountains and the sea.

The admission process required some planning, as I had to take two tests: TOEFL and GMAT. Besides that, I’ve sent some recommendation and motivation letters as well as Bachelor transcripts. It’s ideal to apply for more than one university, but I was glad to be accepted by my first option.

I highly recommend NHH for everyone looking for high-quality study programmes. International experience is something very valuable, so start browsing the different study options and choose your next destination. Good Luck!"
